The MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF VARI, VOULA, VOULIAGMENI lies in the South East of the Attica Region, 17 km from the center of Athens, 22 km from the Athens International Airport and 22 km from the Port o Piraeus.

The municipality was created from the unification of the former municipalities of Vari, Voula and Vouliagmeni in 2010. The 50 km of shoreline which surround the town combined with the mountain region and the natural forests compose a unique environment which offers the city’s approximately 70,000 inhabitants a high standard of living.

wThe current municipal authority has the protection of the environment as an absolute priority and as a result of this, by taking advantage of new technologies and by using the scientific community the city’s human resources, is a pioneer in many issues improving the natural habitat, including waste disposal, sustainable development and energy saving.
