MEDITERRANEAN AGRI-FOOD COMPETENCE CENTER (MACC) is an entity aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the Greek economy through innovation, knowledge, and human resources.

It provides a range of services including:

a) Establishing partnerships among universities, research centers, and businesses.

b) Supporting innovations from intellectual property rights protection to their integration into the real economy.

c) Networking businesses with shared facilities and research resources.

d) Addressing challenges in the agri-food sector through innovation in products and services.

The success of MACC‘s mission relies on its members, comprising various entities from the research, academic, public sectors, and businesses across the country’s productive regions. MACC participates in the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), demonstrating its commitment to creating value through collaborations and knowledge exchange. Its involvement in this network underscores

MACC’s belief that innovation should focus on meeting the individual needs of end-users and society as a whole.
