The top environmental exhibition in Greece impressed for the 6th consecutive time, with exhibitors and visitors reaffirming their annual meeting for 2025!

Bigger, more dynamic and brighter was the 6th Verde.tec international exhibition which took place on March 29 – 31, 2024 in Athens, Greece. This year’s event surpassed all previous ones in participation from Greece and abroad, with exhibitors filling every square of the exhibition center. Thousands of visitors, including professionals, individuals, politicians and local government officials, had the opportunity to explore the most innovative solutions, products and services for the environment, while the concurrent conference program was widely acknowledged as the most upgraded.

The opening event

The exhibition’s opening took place with particular splendor on the evening of the first day, Friday, March 29, in the presence of representatives of the political sphere of the country, along with organizations actively engaged in environmental matters, that support the exhibition with their patronage. Mrs. Alexandra Sdoukou, Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, who represented the Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, inaugurated verde.tec.

At the opening event, honorary prizes were awarded by T-Press to personalities from the fields of politics and science, for their actions and efforts aimed at addressing environmental issues and promoting environmental awareness in Greek society.

The opening event was officiated by Mrs. Zeta Fouda Mourta, Public Relations Manager of the organizing company T-Press alongside with the coordinator of Mr. Michalis Stathakopoulos, the editor-in-chief of the ECOTEC magazine.

Greek Green Awards

On Friday, March 29, the environmental celebration, the Greek Green Awards, took place in a packed hall of the exhibition center.

Fifty-seven organizations, local government bodies and companies were awarded for practices, products or services they have developed by putting scientific knowledge and technological innovation at the service of the environment, with their selection having been made by a specialized scientific committee (a detailed Press Release will follow).

Verde.tec Forum

With more events than ever before, the parallel three-day Verde.tec Forum hosted dozens of delegations in four halls, providing them with the opportunity to address every aspect of cutting-edge environmental issues. It is worth noting that for the first time this year, an additional conference room was added so that all companies and organizations could hold events.

See you in 2025!

Mrs. Voula Mourta and Technoekdotiki / T-Press partners express their warm thanks to the exhibitors, the Forum participants and the visitors, as well as to all those who supported and contributed to the organization of Verde.tec.
