The establishment of the company OIKO-KYKLIOS SA was held in 2010 with the aim of implementing recycling methods in the industry of lamps and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
OIKO-KIKLIOS SA is the only lamp-recycling factory in Greece and the company is also active in the sector of processing and trading SCRAP materials for recycling.
Regarding WEEE, the company cooperates with the scheme Fotokiklosi SA and the Recycling of Appliances SA. The recycling unit of the company OIKO-KIKLIOS SA is certified with the Quality Management System – ISO: 9001, the Environmental Management System – ISO: 14001, the Health and Safety System – ISO: 45001 and the European standard for the management of electrical and electronic waste – WEEELABEX.
The next major innovation for OIKO-KYKLIOS is the company’s entry into the industry of photovoltaic panel recycling. The services provided by the company will include the collection and transport of the panels, their processing and the disposal of the recovered waste to the final recipients. Within the company, a specialized department is going to be created with the ability to control the panels in order to reuse them and make them available on the market.
The installation of a photovoltaic panel recycling machine at the OIKO-KYKLIOS SA factory is a strategic step towards sustainability and innovation.
