SUSTAINABLE CITY Network was established in 2017 as a civil, non-profit organisation with the mission to actively support its municipalities-members in their transition towards a more sustainable and resilient future. By providing technical assistance, information, networking opportunities, and access to European and nationally funded projects, the Network empowers local authorities to implement effective sustainable development strategies.

Today, the Network comprises 93 members, including 87 municipalities from Greece and Cyprus, along with key institutional and academic partners. Its main areas of action include climate adaptation, energy efficiency, the circular economy, and both the energy and green transitions.

With a strong focus on the needs of its municipalities-members, SUSTAINABLE CITY Network designs and implements innovative projects with measurable environmental and social impacts, contributing significantly to improving citizens’ quality of life and strengthening the resilience of local communities.
