The 8th Verde.Tec concluded, reinforcing in the most resonant way its position as the ultimate meeting point for the protagonists of green development!
With leading exhibitors bringing the future of sustainable development to the forefront for three days, a strong presence from Local Government highlighting initiatives to promote the circular economy, and a dynamic program of events that exceeded all expectations, the 8th international exhibition Verde.Tec / Environmental Technologies was completed, held from February 27 to March 1, 2026, at the MEC exhibition center in Paiania, Greece.
The success of the 8th Verde.Tec was reflected in the quality of the exhibits and the networking that took place, while the exhibition’s influence on the market was solidified by the two-day conference of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) on the climate crisis and civil protection, held as part of the Verde.Tec Forum.
Exhibitors, delegates, and visitors alike noted the continuous effort to evolve and upgrade Verde.Tec, aiming for a green future based on the principles of the circular economy and innovation.

Greek Green Awards
The Greek Green Awards took place in a glamorous ceremony on Saturday, February 28, 2026. A specialized scientific committee selected organizations, municipalities, local government bodies, and businesses, which were honored at this environmental celebration for practices, products, or services they have developed with the primary goal of environmental protection (a detailed press release will follow). The event was moderated by the editor-in-chief of ECOTEC magazine, Mr. Michalis Stathakopoulos.

Verde.Tec Forum
The three-day Verde.Tec Forum set another record for events and participants. More events than ever before were held across five conference halls, with the leaders of green development highlighting the industry’s top issues.
Two-day KEDE Conference
The highly significant two-day thematic conference of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) held a prominent position at the Verde.Tec Forum, under the theme: “Climate Crisis and Civil Protection – Empowering Municipalities through Education and New Technologies”. With the participation of representatives from the Government, Local Authorities, and the scientific community, it took place in a packed hall on Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28, 2026. The Conference was organized at a particularly critical juncture for Local Government and local communities, as the impacts of the climate crisis now constitute daily challenges for Municipalities, which stand on the front line of prevention, preparedness, and crisis management.
All Verde.tec Forum events, the opening ceremony, and the Greek Green Awards 2026 will be posted in the coming days on the T–Press Web TV website and the T–Press Web TV YouTube channel.

See you in 2027!
Ms. Voula Mourta and her associates at Technoekdotiki / T-Press express their warm thanks to the exhibitors, delegates, and visitors, as well as to everyone who supported and contributed to the excellent organization of Verde.tec.
