Blue Fox units are transportable, prefabricated fire watchtowers–observation posts of Greek manufacture, designed and implemented by KIBO, with the primary objective of monitoring forest areas and preventing wildfires.

Their construction allows for rapid installation at strategic locations, while their durability makes them suitable for operation under demanding environmental conditions. Blue Fox fire watchtowers offer an observation height of approximately 5 meters above ground level, providing wide visual coverage of the monitored area. They include a main cabin for personnel occupancy, a separate observation area, and covered balconies that enable supervision from multiple directions. In addition, they can be equipped with autonomous energy systems, VHF/UHF wireless communications, lighting, and advanced surveillance equipment, depending on operational requirements.

The use of Blue Fox fire watchtowers plays a decisive role in the early detection of initial fire outbreaks and the continuous monitoring of forested areas, particularly during periods of high risk. Operating as surveillance points and 24/7 monitoring centers, they enhance forest protection and effectively support operational planning and immediate response of the competent authorities.
