At ASSOCIATION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN CRETE (E.S.D.A.K.) we work with vision, plan and meticulousness, with scientific adequacy and technocratic knowledge in order to place our island in the constellation of circular economy. We plan the management of waste in accordance with European directives, national legislation and regional planning, aiming to diminish our environmental footprint in Crete. The protection of the environment, the improvement of the quality of life, the waste exploitation and the promoting of the Circular Economy are vital goals to our very existence.

The ASSOCIATION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN CRETE (E.S.D.A.K.), representing the majority of the prefectures of Heraklion, Rethymnon and Lassithi, proves that it can adequately respond to the promotion of sustainable and green growth, increased recycling and, in the long run, making the circular economy a reality. Projects that have been implemented by E.S.D.A.K. in the past and others that are going to be implemented (Construction of the Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant of Amari, Construction of the new landfill and upgrade of the leachate treatment plant of Sitia, Environmental Park of Circular Economy, KDΑΥ, MPA and SMA Heraklion, Landfill, Green Points, Green Corners, etc.), the programs, the actions that participate (ANASA -Robotic Sorter of Municipal Solid Waste, LIFE F4F – Food from Food, A2UFood, etc.), its overall path and its commitment to innovation, confirm its usefulness and necessity.

All members of ASSOCIATION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN CRETE (E.S.D.A.K.), are highly trained and specialized in their field. They implement each project with passion and eager having full awareness of their role and responsibility.
