EDEYA is headquartered in Larissa and represents 125 Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Enterprises (DEYA) operating in municipalities across Greece, with the exception of Athens and Thessaloniki, that provide water supply, sewerage, wastewater treatment and district heating services to 5,222,077 citizens.

EDEYA coordinates its members, promotes their issues to the State, and provides support across the full spectrum of their operations. EDEYA collects and develops technical know-how, which disseminates to its members through workshops, guidelines and standard tools. EDEYA cooperates with EYDAP SA, EYATH SA, KEDE, universities, as well as other bodies of common interest.

EDEYA is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors, while its work is supported by four (4) Scientific Committees composed of specialized executives.

EDEYA is a member of EUREAU and Water Europe and serves as a reliable institutional interlocutor of the State on issues related to the water resources’ management.
